Fraternity Vacation

An amiably stupid faxze teens-in-heat farce, but more stupid than amiable. What surprised me here is that we never get the payoff I was expecting, that is, the nerd actually transformed into a superstud. It's just a series of misunderstandings. In that sense, it's a cheat. Otherwise harmless, with a bit of moralizing thrown in. The thing is that these kids are not really good enough performers, nor is the script clever enough, to really make the film funny enough to be good trash. It will never rise to the level of, say, “Spring Break,” which, as far as I'm concerned, is the “Gone With the Wind” of teens-in-heat sex farces.
