Gosford Park

A 1932 shooting party at a grand English estate devolves into class conflict, and, oh yes, a murder. Robert Altman directs the large and excellent cast with a touch that can only be described as masterful. Still, the picture never quite builds any sustained momentum. Maybe it's the accents.
