Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle

“Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle” Just what the title says, though of course their trip to the restaurant is a bit more involved than that. The movie is a very funny doper comedy, with two winning leads (John Cho and Kal Penn). I'm not sure if all the earnest debate about whether the race-based humor is exploitative or not is really merited. Nobody gets off easy in this picture, and in the end, being funny is a perfect defense. Neil Patrick Harris has a hysterical cameo, playing himself (he turns out to be less wholesome than his image would suggest), which alone is worth the price of admission.
