Jagged Edge

Glenn Close is a woman alternately terrorized and swept away by Jeff Bridges. The whole film revolves around whether or not he is the vicious killer, and it is a credit to the filmmakers that we give a shit. Of course they keep dropping hints, but you (at least I) are really not sure until the very last minute. The slowly gathering strom of evidence does make things pretty tense. Robert Loggia is good in a small role. In general, considering that the picture relies for its success on one question, it does pretty well.
