Masquerade

An engaging, atmospheric romantic thriller starring some very attractive performers, about a poor little rich girl, a possibly unscrupulous (but devilishly good looking) ship captain, murder, and money. 'The plot holds together well, and the two major twists actually did catch me by surprise. Nicely acted and photographed, the mood reminded me a little of “Obsession” (though I liked this better). A tad melancholy perhaps, but very entertaining nonetheless.
