Prizzi's Honor
This wasn't a bad picture, but it was something of a disappointment to me, probably because of the raves which it had received when it first appeared, I loved the opening, with the little kid receiving the brass knuckles, but the picture didn't't get any better after that. Jack Nicholson, whom we all know is capable of extravagant brilliance, seems shackled here by the accent he is forced te use througheut. Everything in the film is adequate, and it is worth seeing, but maybe the truth is that you can't make a good comedy about hit men (or wemen).
