Silverado

A big letdown for me. Writer-director with a good track record (Kasdan) and a good cast and supposed to be the renaissance of the western. Beautifully photographed, and well acted and directed, but it just never caught fire for me (though, to be fair, the fact that I saw it while half asleep probably didn't help) (though had it been as good as I'd expected, it should have woken me up). “The Long Riders” was better.
