A documentary love poem to surfing and the surfing life by Dana Brown (son of the maker of the surf classic "Endless Summer"). Of course the big wave scenes are jaw-dropping, but there are some genuinely moving movements as well, such as when three surfing Irish-American brothers visiting Ireland take a group of Catholic and Protestant kids surfing. No sectarian hatred visible in the waves. In another sequence, a Vietnam veteran returns to Vietnam with his son. Surfing is the stated reason for the trip, but it's not hard to see that it is also a way for him to make peace with his past.
