The Majestic

Frank Darabont's drama stars Jim Carrey as a blacklisted screenwriter mistaken for a war hero thought dead. Though lashed by some critics as a cheap Capra knockoff, the film stays mostly on course, and has enough good moments to make up for the duds. (Plus some fine piano on the soundtrack.)
