Tin Men

Something of a disappointment for me. Sure it's nicely photpgraphed and richly atmospheric (there is a popular phrase for you) and the acting is fine (and I still think that Richand Dreyfuss looks more and more like Paul Newman every day) but from my point of view the bickering didn't add up to much. Spottily amusing, but no overall impact, For a much better rendering of the passing of a certain kind of life, see (of course) Levinson's “Diner.”
