Trains, Planes, and Automobiles

John Candy (a funny guy) and Steve Martin (a very funny guy) star in this John Hughes (an improving guy) trifle about two mismatched businessmen thrown together by circumstance. There is some very funny stuff going on he I laughed aloud. Nobody will ever accuse this of being great cinema, but I found it very entertaining. This sort of '"one misfortune after another" thing can get a bit ennervating when not handled well, but this ohe is, so it doesn't. The dewy-eyed ending is just a little telegraphed, but it too works, and you leave feeling pretty good all around.
