Naked

Starring: David Thewliss Despite a lacerating performance by Thewliss as a disconnected drifter in London, the picture never quite clicked for me. It may be that these characters are so far outside the realm of normal human interaction that I could not relate under any circumstances. Also not helping was the sound quality, which, together with the thick accents, made just understanding the dialogue rather a challenge. A bleak, bitter, and occasionally funny look at a completely disenfranchised segment of society, and I guess that's the point. Certainly original, but I'm not sure I would call it entertaining.
