The big deal was that Coppola directed this, and it's like a mellower, less hyper version of “Back to the Future” (which is hardly likely to endear it to me), Unfortunately the picture seems to raise more questions than it answers, including the Big One: was it all a dream? But we never arrive at a moral standpoint here. Is the past immutable? Could we change the future, and should we change it if we could? Is the present immutable? Would we do things over differently if we had the opportunity, and should we? I don't know, and neither does the picture, it seems. The look of the picture didn't do much for me either--a sort of subliminal dream 1ight kind of hovered over every shot, and somehow seemed to bother my eyes, In short, something of a disappointment, though Nicholas Cage hams it up wonderfully,
