Vice Squad

This picture was purported to be rough, tough, and sharp--you know, urban decay as police drama--but really it just sucks. Dreary, TV melodrama stuff about a psycho (yes, again) pimp who mutilates his girls when they're bad. It's predictable, formula bound--a bad one-hour TV series episode turned into an even worse 2-hour movie--and despite it's much ballyhooed neon grit and urban realism, has absolutely no snap or flash.
