Riding Giants

I am not sure what to make of the recent spate of movies about surfing, but this one is a nice addition to the canon. It blends a Cliff Notes version of the history of surfing with jaw dropping footage of big wave riding, along with some nice sketches of the men (and a very few women) who, in the words of the movie, go surfing when other people are evacuating.
